Today’s ministry fair at First Baptist Church is a perfect opportunity to “get off the bus” and onto the mission field. If you haven’t yet found your way to bring the Kingdom of Heaven to Richmond, Virginia, then find your way to the dining hall and gym at First Baptist anytime this morning. I feel sure that something there will catch your eye, capture your imagination, or hijack your heart.
It was indeed, a great success, if that definition is a place or places where one might definitely be involved in bringing heaven to earth right here! The real difficulty is picking the right match for one’s particular gifts and interests — there were so-o-o-o many possibilities. I look forward to watching what happens with all the new recruits from today! Thanks to everyone who worked hard to pull this off — I have done this sort of thing often enough to know just how much work is involved, and I truly appreciate all those who made it possible.
